Defense of Adeptus Mechanicus

"Commander Seavn we have a wide-band communication from the Adeptus Mechanicus they are requesting assistance in the defense of one of their Forge Worlds...It seems an ork spacehulk has crashed on their planet and has already overrun a third of the planet..." The Battle Brother looks over at him and says "Do you wish to respond to their request...?"

Seavn looks at him and says "Tell the Adeptus Mechanicus that the Forth Company of the BLANKED OUT BY ORDER OF THE INQUISITION are on course and will assist in any shape or form possible..." Looks at the navigator "Best speed to the Forge World."

Navigator responds "Warp jump in T-minus 10 seconds..."

Seavn grins and thinks that because of the constant drilling his ship was the best manned in the Chapter...

"T-minus 3 seconds...2 seconds...Jump"

Uneasiness fills Seavn's body as the ship enters the immaterial of the warp looking over at the Navigator the worries of all enter his mind...a human so touched by the warp like that was always a liability and there was always a chance that some warp demon would posses the navigator and send them elsewhere...

Standing up he looks at the Sergeant on the deck and says "You have command I am going to meditate on the attack...I will return before we jump back into normal space..."

Rain falling as a battle takes place on the planet below the Battle Barge Varqi

"Sergeant those infernal orks are massing to the left quadrent..."

Looking at this new battlebrother he smiles under his helmet oh how the implusive the young are..."Take five brothers with you lay down covering fire I will call in two heavy bolters for additional fire power to rip through their ranks...Two Assult Squads will come in from behind on jump packs and we shall crush them... Go on take Brother Avius with you..."

"As you command Sergeant..." The newly intiated Battle brother grabes Brother Avius by the left shoulder and they run off grabing three others and taking cover behind some heavy rubble...

He turns to the Adpetus Mechanicus Storm Troopers four squads left which was surprising...looking at their command the sergeant says "Those two hell-fire rockets I want them fired now..."

The commander of the storm troops stands up to say something and the sergeant looks at him and says "If you say anything other then by your will I will kill you right here and now...then your men then I will fire the rockets myself..."

The commander looks at the tank and nods...

The Sergeant looks ahead and grins as two hell-fire rockets fire over head into the on coming ork ranks tearing them apart in seconds leaving only two large craters which are soon filled with the rain water...only for more orks to be seen off in the distance...

"Sergeant they come again..."

"Then they shall fall again...and again AND AGAIN until we have won this day IN THE NAME OF THE EMPEROR WE SHALL NOT FALL TO THIS GREEN SKIN XENO..."

the simple uttering of the forever immortal Emperor on his Golden throne boils the blood of all the Marines in the emplacement...Checking and rechecking their weapons and ammo stocks they nod to each one and another then towards the oncoming wave of Orks they look as the rain continues to pour down from over head...
