The Selection of the young from Zaul who wish to become Ultra Templar

Having been granted a planet to call their Home world Eight Thousand Years ago by the High Lords of Terra the Ultra Templar chose a planet called Zaul which was comprised of both Sprawling Hive Cities and vast farmlands with Mountains so inhospitable one would not think it was the same planet.  Having access to Hab Structures and farming equipment comes with its prices.

The Planet Zaul has its own standing Planetary Defense Forces as well as Twenty different Regiments of Imperial Guard Forces.

When the Planetary Rulers of Zaul were informed that the Ultra Templar would be using their planet as their home world and main base of operations they were dismayed and lodged many complaints to as many people that would listen to them.

Though when the Ultra Templar and the Adeptus Mechanicus landed on Zaul and began construction of the Ultra Templar Fortress Monastery the Ultra Templar informed the Rulers of Zaul that they were there to gather young men willing to join them on their crusade against all that were against the Imperium.

Within Four years of finishing their construction of their Fortress Monastery they had finished rebuilding and revamping the infrastructure of Zaul making it possible to double their output in anything they were manufacturing.

Every year the Ultra Templar hold a contest of strength, courage, and will power those that pass and are accepted are sent to their Fortress Monastery to begin their transformation into Space Marines of the Ultra Marine Chapter those that fail are not sent home in disgrace.  They are quickly merged into the Planetary Defense Forces or Segeants of a Platoon in one of the Twenty Regiments of their Home Planet’s Imperial Guard Forces.
